From the Beginning

I’ve carried the healing touch for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was deeply compassionate and could sense what others could not. I saw Spirit when others saw only empty space — a gift my grandmother was the only one willing to acknowledge.

Some encounters were beautiful and profound. Others were frightening and unsettling. But in a home shaped by strict religious beliefs, there was no safe space to speak openly. Anything outside the narrow definition of God — whether it was energy work, magic, or spirit communication — was labeled as dangerous or “devil’s work.” Even then, the call within me never faded.

As I moved away from those beliefs, I began to seek truth for myself. I immersed myself in the folk magic of the Caribbean, the sacred traditions of South America, and the earth-based practices of Europe — all connected to my heritage. I discovered that the spirit world was not something to fear. It was sacred. And my experiences were not wrong — they were my beginning.

Awakening After Awakening

My path has been shaped by many turning points. One of the most profound came with the birth of my children. I nearly lost my life, and while I didn’t have the “typical” near-death experience, it cracked me open. It forced me to examine my connection to God, my beliefs about the afterlife, and my very purpose here. It also unearthed deep mother wounds, pushing me toward my ancestors, my guides, and my own inner healing.

From there, my journey accelerated. Becoming a Reiki Master — and especially my attunement in Kundalini Reiki — unlocked my mediumship and channeling gifts in powerful ways. I found myself moving through the Akashic Records long before I knew what to call it. Completing my Usui Reiki Master Teacher training deepened my capacity to work in the unseen, while formal Akashic Records training, quantum healing, past-life readings, and channeled messages expanded my abilities even further. These awakenings didn’t just refine my skills — they reshaped me entirely.

They also planted a truth deep in my spirit: I wanted to offer others the same kind of transformation that had been such a blessing in my own life.

The Journey From GuavaJelly Holistic to the House of Kai

I’ve always been a student — and a teacher. I’ve been blessed with incredible spaces for my own growth, and over time, I expanded my capacity, and made room to become that space for others: a place for healing, comfort, attunement, guidance, connection, and messages from Spirit.

My journey began as GuavaJelly Tarot then we matured into our holistic methods of healing and changed again to GuavaJelly Holistic. The name is rooted in my personal history from a childhood nickname. In those early days, my work centered on candle magic, altar work, spell casting, and divination and root work. Along my path, I became a Certified Psychic Medium & Akashic Records Reader, a Certified Breathwork Facilitator, a Meditation Teacher & Trainer, and a Spiritual Wellness Coach with multiple modalities. Each one was a doorway that expanded me personally and in turn my ability to guide others. And as my training expanded, so did my calling.

The House of Kai came to life when I realized I was creating “rooms” for people — spaces to step into for transformation. This vision was inspired by my own experiences navigating the Akashic Records, working through trauma, connecting with my guides, and ancestors, and uncovering my highest potential.

What the House Means

My name, Kaisha Kaya, is Swahili — meaning Full of Life & Home. I believe that everyone who enters the House of Kai is: a sacred being carrying powerful, unique jewels within them. These gifts are meant to be seen, honored, and shared. When you step into this House, I want you to feel welcomed, seen, and supported. I want you to know that this is a place for transformation, for clear connection, and for reclaiming your own sacred power. Here, you are not just a visitor. You are part of the House. And in every room, you will find what your spirit came here seeking.
